H = Time (Hours) = 18
Q = 4.88(T/100)4Â x a x AH
Q = 4.88(22/100)4 x 14 x (10)(18)
Then, Q = 4.88(0.22)4 x 14 x 180
Q = 4.88(0.00234256) x 2520
Q = 28.807
Therefore, the total heat loss in furnace is 28.807 J/Kg K.
