σb = (β(Tg – T) + P) / K
That is, σb = (3(6 – 8) + 10) / 14
σb = (3(-2) + 10) / 14
σb = (-6 + 10) / 14
Then, σb = 4 / 14
σb = 0.285
Therefore, the damping stress is 0.285 Pa.
