This implies that;

i = Current per Unit Density = 20
ηa = ±β log(i/io)
ηa = ±(10) log(20/5)
That is, ηa = ±(10) log(4)
ηa = ±(10) (0.6020)
ηa = ±6.020
Therefore, the activation polarization is ±6.020.
