Subtraction of Matrices
To carry out subtraction of matrices successfully, the number of row(s) must be equal in each matrix operand and the number of column(s) must be equal in each matrix operand too.
A matrix is characterized by (m by n)
Where:
m represents the number of row(s)
n represents the number of column(s)
Illustrating further, if we are to carry out the matrix subtraction of A - B and matrix A has 2 rows and 3 columns, matrix B should also have 2 rows and 3 columns.
In the above illustration, there are two operands which are A and B.
